Clothing Line Preview: Collide

My inspiration of my line Collide is how everything in individuals can collide together and make something better than standing alone. Different colors, personalities, looks, and etc. if we all come together in the right ways, we can make a difference to in our society. In my line, you can see different colors that mix together that make a wonderful outfit. You can see great and new exciting ways to wear things. For example, cut out jeans to make sleeves, or even the crazy styles some clothes have mixed with simple style, together they make an extraordinary outfit. Dont stand alone if you can take a chance to collide with each other to make something different, or make a difference in this world.

Clothing Line Preview : Recherche

Recherche’ is about what’s hidden in everyone’s lives. People carry burdens and baggage around with them everywhere they go sometimes unbeknownst to the people around them. We’re all good at keeping our struggles internal, and feeling as if we’re the only one’s who can truly understand the plight we live through. The truth is; we are never the only one’s dealing with our issues and we need to realize that no matter how put-together a person is on the outside, everyone has a burden that’s weighing them down internally.
Our collection champions the outward expression of these burdens because, in actuality, we need each other more than we’d like to admit. Expressing what you’re dealing with is a crucial step in the right direction.
The collection employs this technique of wearing burdens on the outside for all to see. The models are wearing different constructions of baggage and burdens to convey that there are multiple ways in which a person can be hindered by their liability. Each model’s garment is the same, reflecting the concept that we all have something we’re working through. No one person escapes this truth. The model’s identities are hidden because we’re not trying to pin specific burdens on anyone. The belief overall is that no matter who you are; social status, income level, gender, or race; we’re all dealing with something, and we’re all in this together.
